There are a bunch of Representatives AND Senators who should be recalled from office: Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, and probably 30 or 40 others. “We the people” have been POORLY served by our Congress. There would have been no toxic mortgage problem if Congress hadï»¿ not weakened the banking laws. And why isn’t Frank Raines and his cronies in jail for cooking the books at Fannie Mae? We have corruption in Congress or, if it’s not corruption, it’s just plain stupidity.

I am shocked that a politician got caught lying. Shocked, I tell you. I’m sure they were the only ones. Right?I guess you’ve never heard of deregulation, or how fannie & freddie were not the only financial institutions to fail. The reason you’re jumping up & down is because democrats got caught this time. But you convenientlyï»¿ forget that it was republicans (mostly) that were pushing for deregulation.

Really? How, pray tell?The dems wrote the bonuses in to the bill that the dems hustled through and the promised time to review it was tossed out the window likeï»¿ stinky bath water. When the Republicans wanted the bonuses pulled out. Obama talked Dodd into adding them back in. NOW the dems want to feign SHOCK at the audacity of AIG giving/taking bonuses.
