Derren Brown- Russian Scam (explained)
I reply to a video where it seems Derren Brown hypnotizes a man into willfully giving up his belongings. I give an explanation for how this might have been done. Watch the referenced video first: www.youtube.com (Here’s the original video link but seems to have died): www.youtube.com Notes on a few things: – I noticed in the video I keep saying “pattern break” while “pattern interrupt” is the more common term. – In asking the man directions he distracts him, but more specifically it causes the man to enter an altered state where he internally processes for an answer. Like with the handshake interrupt this puts the man out of his conscious mode and invokes a short trance state. Google “transderivational search” for more info. – Giving the man the bottle is additionally a persuasion technique… I give you something first, then you give me something. @argonutter They’re most certainly trying though, we’re only breaking the surface of the relatively new field of modern bioengineering. DNA information is incredibly complex, it took many years for the Humane Genome Project to get where they are now, and humans have a mear 23 chromosome pairs. Soybeans on the other hand have 40, potatoes have 48, corn has 20, and rice has 24. That would take years to map out to fully understand.

Erroneous propaganda. Everything here is just wrong. I’ve been in agricultural business. Genetic engineering has been done several hundreds of years, and is made naturally in nature where there is no control. It’s nothing toxic or dangerous in strictly controlled genetic engineering — rather the opposite. This makes us use less chemicals. Also the switch of genetic base has been done in hundreds of years, in order to avoid declining harvests. This is lying Greenpeace propaganda.
GM crops are definitely unfit for the environment, for the animals or for people! Recent scientific findings, described in the magazine, Science in Society, are casting grave doubts over the safety of GM food in general, and the fatal flaw may be something in the genetic modification process itself.
A farmer in Hesse, Germany grew Syngenta’s Bt 176 maize and fed them to his cows. Twelve cows died and others had to be slaughtered because of mysterious illnesses.

In hundreds of years plants have been genetically modified, and for millions of years we had spontaneously genetically modification, enable plants to breed and survive better. Without GM it decline. A farmer in the 60s, before laboratory GM, after a few years had to switch to modified plants, otherwise bad harvetst.

If you care to study Derren’s books you’ll find out that he uses no such powers whatsoever. He is a great showman, and he uses a combination of classic magic trickery, hypnosis and some NLP.

oh its genuine btw. bouncers use some of these tequniqes on drunk people (who btw are more open to it). an efective form of mind control is to as displayed mirror body language & bring about a pattern of “agreement” by where the subject is being given statements in quick succession they are likely to agree strongly with. when they begin to nod thier head you strike.
