I have a book published through a publishing company, not a vanity press. My question is what do I need to send and how can I get a newspaper or a magazine to review my book for more exposure?

the magnum The dessert eagle has a horrible aim and it is to bulky for a pistol plus I like tac knife on magnum and the magnum has a tiny bit better range

@bransta182 i play whit ump 45 i am pro whit it but i am also pro whit vecor vector has nice aiming it have good recoil and its firering fast so u can kill the guy thaths shooting to u earlier dead
i think 44. magnum is better becouce the damage is the same but the recoil on the magnum is steadier. and on your next show i want to see scar-h vs M4A1

i wouldnt like u to make a gun review, i would like u to review the map packs which is more fun etc…
i tryed to get the deser eagle akimbo, but its nearly impossible. i like the 44. magnum better. PLease chech out the different betwen UMP45 and the MP5k.
44 magnum easier to upgrade because when you get it you use the default ump 45 running class to run around and get kills with the tac knife

In my opinion I think the Desert Eagle is better because it reloads faster, it has better damage, and it kills in 2 shots. Sure it has a bad recoil but it’s still better.
Actually the damage on the .44 is 50-35 and on the Desert Eagle it is 50-30. Therefore the Magnum will always kill in three hits at any range and the Desert Eagle will take four.

i like the magnum cuz less recoil, kills quicker, unlocks at lower rank, and by the time u get the deagle, u will already unlock all the attatchments

Here’s a good place to start: Search for “find a book reviewer” in Yahoo, Google, or MSN. I found 9.25 million answers! Take your pick. Many are free. Some may require a small investment.Remember, to sell your book, you are the best promoter and salesperson.

I’m amazed your publisher didn’t do this. You need to get readers’ copies and maybe a press release sent to all the newspapers and city or regional magazines which might cover this. Consider radio, too, if you have local stations which cover cultural events.
You need to send Advance Review Copies (ARCs) of the book to the various magazines (Publisher’s Weekly and Booklist are two of the major ones) and also to online reviewers. Very few newspapers do book reviews any more, except for the major ones like the LA Times, and they only take major literary or best selling authors.
Your publisher’s Marketing Department should have handled this particular job for you. Most ARCs go out several months before the book is actually released because reviewers (esp. print magazines) need several weeks of lead time for reviews.
Your publisher should also have an in-house publicist who can send out press releases about you and your book.If they don’t, you can do your own press releases for local media.
I highly recommend online promotion. There are many blogs and review sites that do book reviews and many will also let authors do ‘guest blogs’ or interviews. Again, these often have to be arranged several weeks or months in advance of your book’s actual release date.
