If you're using a debit card and use a credit card, you do not do much to worry about when someone receives your number, because everything you need to do is report the fraud and credit card company is dealing with the subject. If you use a debit card, the money comes directly from your checking account – not good, even if your bank provides protection, as the account is exhausted before I can someone report together. With a credit card, the bank is not for sale and money at stake.
