How do I write my own performance review? – Batman: Arkham Asylum Review

Here is the Question: How do I write my own performance review?
I want to evaluate my performance and put it in an increase in compensation proposal for my boss when we both go over his performance review over me. How do I go about writing my own performance review? Any websites for reference would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

    lol only super hero i like from dc is batman the rest are all marvel cuz wolverine would kill everyone lol and galactis would eat us lol my only other favorite ppl from dc are some of the villians like joker and killer croc and clayface

  4. ELohELification says:

    @obiwan544 Lol true. However, I like the Joker as more of a comedic insane person rather than some dark, gritty serial killer. But hey, to each his own, right?

    Batman is the only DC Charecter i can love, marvel is the rest for me, i just could never take the other serious since most o them wear really bright colors and batman is all dark and is just amazing

    Seriously the reviewer is pretty shitty, it’s just the way he talks too fast and with sudden stops. It doesn’t sound natural and you can’t just sit back and relax while listening. The game is AWESOME! But this guy needs to try and improve his reviews more, rather than reading up from a piece of paper really fast. :s

    One of the best single player only games out on the market. The storyline, gameplay, environment, and everything else was just magnificent and captured the players attention immediately (in the best of ways XD). I can’t wait for a sequel!

    @NOOBKILLA139 he does

    To evaluate your own performance, you start with a statement of expectations for your position, and then also have in front of you a statement of expectations for the position you want to show you are ready for.

    Now, provide details that demonstrate that you have met all expectations, demonstrate that you have gone beyond the limits of your job description in the direction of the job you want.

    Demonstrate that you have done whatever is needed to prepare yourself for that advancement, courses, mentoring, etc.

    A big one… haveyou been helping other staff members to prepare to fill your shoes? You may not be promotable if your job will not be filled. You may be held back if you are not seen as a mentor to others, seen by other people, not just yourself.

    If you demonstrate that those you have been mentoring have made good progress, you might think that this would be promoting them instead of yourself, but management is looking for those who can and will get others to perform better.

    If there have been any complaints that come back to you, you should acknowledge them and identify what you have done to reduce or eliminate them. Avoid finding fault with others in this exercise. Part of the process is to show that you are getting the problem fixed, even if it means helping someone else to do better. In fact, demonstrating that you are negotiating to get problems fixed is a big plus.

    I’ve always written my own performance appraisal. My employees write their own too. Then, the “boss” looks it over, makes modifications where they see fit…. and then sets up the meeting for the “Performance Review”.

    Your company should have pre-established Performance Apprasal forms. You just need to get the form and fill it out for yourself. Only you know exactly what you did all year long. That’s why it is important for you to do it rather than your boss.

    Because A LOT can happen over a year, it’s a recommended pratice to update the form several times throughout the year…. so that you don’t foget what happen during the year and so that it’s not a major task come the Performance Review cycle.
