How long does it take for an adjuster to review a car accident injury settlement to make an offer? – Dark Void: Games In Review (Video Game Review Analysis) S2E7
Here is the Question: How long does it take for an adjuster to review a car accident injury settlement to make an offer?
My lawyer sent a demand letter to state farm, so how long do they usually take to review the documents from the case and come back with either our demand or their counter offer?

it looks sick
they really liked that flying metaphore a lot, didn’t they?
Rent it at best. I heard its shit. It got a 5.5 /10 or something from ign. And i did not see one great review on it.
@metaitachi
if its a bad review from IGNorant, then its good
Umm no its a bad review generally. And it does look shit.
@metaitachi
looks can be deciveing
(yes i am shit a spelling, grammar isnt my strongest thing)
It can be decieving to some extent but this looks like unpolished garbage. Like i find nothing redeeming watching this, not to mention ALL of the bad reviews about it. I think its safe to say that this was a neat concept, but terribly executed. It looks like a rent at best, and i dont even bother renting average games.
fair enough
@DarkLordRevan111 how can a game called Gaylo win goty ?
@DarkLordRevan111 I agree with you saying Uncharted is a movie, the sp is tedious and drags on, multiplayer is tacked on, mw 2 sp rules especially from a multiplayer developer, multiplayer best ever, but gaylo aint gonna win nothing, GOD OF WAR 3 is…
first i know
GoW3 is awesome and kick ass
but
U2 is bad
Heavy Rain looks like james bond movie but japanese
and Halo Reach is awesome but still it’s my opinion
fair enough, im still thinking whether to get Heavy Rain…i want it 2 be good but have a bad feeling its gonna be a dud
eh ? i need a normal review with gameplay, i’m really thinking about buying darkvoid ..
halo is a great game in my opinion. i feel you are a ps3 fanboy. and yea im kinda sad there is no heavy rain for the 360
Don’t. Campaign is way too short. The game is very monothonic. Theres a huge lack of enemy variety. I was very disappointed.
oh.. i found it for about 18euros so i thought why not, and that’s why i was searching a normal review.. =/
Dude get it when it goes down to 40$ okay? its not as bad as everyone says it is, its fun upgrading awesome weapons, going on your jetpack is really fun (although the controls take a little bit getting used to, just go to the menu to adjust them) , the game is about 10 hours long on normal and mabye 12 on hardcore, there is also DLC that is out now (they may release more) which is basically like the mercenaries mode in resident evil.
i would get it
hmm .. idk, i found it for about 18euros on a website from england. thanks for the informations, maybe i’ll buy it, idk, i’m still thinking ..
if its 18eros i say get it, its a really fun game if you get used to the controls its pretty easy if you just play a fly stage for a bit and just fly around without doing anything.
plus there is DLC (downloadable content) which is out now which extends the lasting appeal, its where you fight against these stages of the watcher aliens up to stage 10 and they get stronger each stage, its really fun i tried it.
hmm.. i can’t believe it, now only 15€ (+ ~2€ shipping) .. i think i’ll get it : )
(found it on thehut(dot)com, just wanted to let you know where i buy cheap games from UK, if you want to ; D )
sadly i don’t live in the UK i live in canada so it’s not gonna work on my console.
me neither! i live in austria (is in europe), they send you the games like amazon. which console do you have ?
i have a PS3. and i don’t think that it is going to work because its from europe and i got a video game from europe when i was there and i got home and put it on my console and it didn’t work.
@legorocks3 oh, i have a PS3 too. idk, i can play games from everywhere like every other PS3 owner(google should help). maybe the game was pirate or fake or something. =/
add me on psn if you want, my psn id: Misel-8z
that’s a shame, they don’t know a good thing when they see it, I enjoyed Dark void
OK, the campaign is short and the woman, Ava, is insanely annoying, but it’s good fun
Generally, there is no concrete rule. The amount of time can vary.
In California at least, insurance companies are required to accept or deny, in whole or in part, within 40 days of receipt of a claim, or to give you an explanation why they need more time.
But, when it comes to giving you a settlement offer that is a different story. They don’t really have to even make you an offer.
Occasionally, attorney’s take their time “wearing down” the other side in order to receive a larger settlement.
Here we do it in just 7 days.
And I also think that 7 days is enough to check everything.
It depends on the complexity of the crash. For example, if there was significant damage to the vehicles, if the injuries are soft tissue or more serious, proof of the injuries, etc. It’s good that you already have an injury lawyer because they will most likely have experience working with the local insurance agencies in the past. If for some reason your lawyer can’t answer this question, I suggest getting another opinion. You can call the Injury Helpline to find a lawyer in your area (www.caraccidentinjuryhelpline.com).
Feel free also to visit my blog at autoaccidenthelp.wordpress.com to get more advice on how to deal with a crash. There’s not much on it yet but I will continuously be updating it with more advice.
Good luck!
There are 2 times a year that the adjusters are swamped.
November/December due to Christmas and March because lawyers have to pay taxes.
Everyone wants to settle before Christmas, so they can spend more on the holidays. Taxes are due in April, so lawyers want to settle more cases to pay their taxes due in April.
So if an adjuster gets say an average of 25 cases to be settled a month, the number could double during those months. Also in November/December, adjusters like everyone else wants time off for vacation, holidays etc, so could limit the time they have to review their claims or have someone else try and pick up the slack.
And as MSAD stated, it depends on the type of case, injuries etc that they review. Some cases may have to go thu several people for authority and that adds time, since until management reviews, then nothing can be done to make an offer or reject it.
But you have one thing in your favor and that is that most companies want to close as many claims by the end of they year and they push the adjuster to do so. But that does not mean that the offer could come before Christmas, only that an offer could be made and the check does not come till after the 1st of the year, but then the case is closed and off the books.
Also, say the adjuster calls the lawyer on Wednesday, but they play phone tag back and forth, could be another week before they actually talk to each other. Then the lawyer calls back and once again, phone tag back and forth.
Your lawyer will call you when they make an offer, since by law he is obligated to do so.
good luck
Depends on how many the adjuster has to review and how big the package is. It takes a lot longer to go through a package that is 18 inches thick as opposed to one that is 1 inch thick. It easily could take any where from 1 – 30 days from the date the adjuster receives it.
And since you have an attorney and will be paying him a very large chunk of any settlement you get, you really should direct any questions you have to your attorney.
Unless is some untoward facts about the accident – probably within 10 days.
