Michael Shermer Learns the Art of Con Games Part 1

The art of the con is as old as civilization, employing the skills of deception, misdirection, and the psychology of human greed and the desire to get something for nothing. In this episode Shermer employs a professional con artist to teach him the fine art of conning people.

Mostly Black criminals play this game.

  2. Godzilla1985 says:

Black people trash their own neighborhoods, then blame in on white folks. Then they come to the downtown areas to run their scams on younger white kids.

And this is why skeptics do what they do. Let’s all thank Mr Shermer!

    Thank you, Mr Shermer!

what if different people bet on 2 different cards(boxes)? How does the con man say “I don’t want you to bet this one?”

Aren’t real games some win some lose?

Will you resist a click? If you’re interested in earning some money please view my profile. So far I’ve gotten over $100.00 in one week along with two Xbox 360 games. At least try it. :-)

  11. TheOracleNow says:

He said it in the video, he can make any box empty or full, if you pick the actual full one he’ll open another one that’s not bet on as the full box. Unwinnable game, unless all three are bet on there is still no winners.

  12. OSOK995 says:

Well I wouldn’t compare a 757 airplane to a helicopter but ok, lets say it’s true.

Flight 77 had two rolls-Royce engines
made of steel and titanium alloy and weight 6 tons each.
It is scientifically impossible that 12 tons of steel and titanium was vaporized by
    jet fuel.

And that’s not me saying all that, I got it from the documentary Zeitgeist.

  13. dreamvisionnetwork says:

yeah I agree that planting Bombs on structural parts of the building on 110 storie/story building with out leaving a single trace of drilling or dirt or nothing and then have 50.000 people working the building not noticing a single weird thing is far fetched. at least a slight drill dust would have been seen or left to be found.

  14. dreamvisionnetwork says:

    The 2 motors were found.

  15. OSOK995 says:

Uh no, they haven’t been found.
Where’d you get your false info anyway?

How can they be all over the news that they’ve melted and then be found?

  16. OSOK995 says:

    Are you serious?
Like 50 of the people who worked there said they found all the metal was melted in the P1 level, they described it being like a molten lava

And that was their exact words. You can see it on Zeitgeist if you don’t believe me.

Is that enough evidence or are you gonna tell me jet fuel melted all the structural steel?

Because you do realize you need something like thermite to do that and it’s scientifically impossible to melt all that steel with just jet fuel.

The UFO video shermer on Larry King Live, is systematically removing our pro ET-UFO posts, and within minutes 5-10 negative ratings. We are really putting it to the shermer machine, and somebody(guess who) doesn’t like it. This confirms we are getting to him.

  18. blackadderthe4 says:

*the UFO video shermer on Larry King Live, is systematically removing our pro ET-UFO posts” no he is not as you well know! because the thread owner has to be online and he hasn’t for two weeks, look at his profile! dahur has a hidden agenda of some kind, because he has bought into the “UFO” myth lock, stock and barrel! Just look at his other posts elsewhere!

Wow, that guy at the end perfectly explains why some of us play those carnival games that you can’t win. I goto the Texas State Fair for the car show and the amazing food, but while walking through the rigged game area I always end up thinking “I know I can do it this time, I’ve figured it out!”.

  20. ScathenC says:

You do realise that Zeitgeist is a satirical comedy, don’t you?

  21. ScathenC says:

Well Zeitgeist must be correct then.

  22. pimpmyride666 says:

Doing cons require very good acting skills and you can’t be too nervous at the time.

  23. Paradoxical003 says:

ok, what do you wanna talk about?

  24. signatureinthecell says:

For those interested in seeing Shermer having his ass handed to him by the brilliant and far more “Bright” Stephen C. Meyer, check out my profile. Once you see the intellectual beatdown Meyer gives him you’ll never look at Shermer the same again.

    Thanks

Dude, just bet on any of the ones you’re sure are not the right one.
