Hah! That is so not true.. The sound experience doesn’t live UP to it!? Theese are one of the finest Computer Speaker systems, it works as a 5.1 speaker system, the materials are far more great than any other manufacturer. And beside all that, they have designed this system to be as easy as possible to connect to any computer and get one of the best sound experiences ever! Only B&O can top over theese speakers.

Seeing as I do have a expensive soundcard, Is there any way that its potential will be put into the speakers?
E.g. My Logitec speakers at the moment plug into the sound card. Great.
But, if these are USB does it mean that it bypasses the quality of the soundcard and use the computers sound processing power.

Sorry not by a long shot, Bose are probably one of the worst speaker brands for the money you can buy, however they have the best marketing of any speaker company in the world. In fact they are the only speaker company that doesn’t release their specifications. I Think you should google high end audio for the city you live in and try listening to something in a high end store if you want to hear something better.
I completely disagree here. I own these speakers and all you have to do is go through your computers sound settings and play around with them and you will find the sweet spot and these will kill the competition hands down.

you actually can hook them up to your xbox 360 with the Audio Video HDMI AV Cable / Gaming Cable for XBOX 360 and a RCA Stereo Male Cable which will only cost a total of $18-$25 bucks online but now-a-days monitors and tv’s have headphone jacks built in them so you can just hook them up that way as well.
I agree that the price is really steep but the clarity is ridiculous compared to most speakers and the quality of them are built to last unlike most other speakers.

its not just the “subwoofer” its the acoustimass module in others words the base of the system its powers everything.
my father has it and wow it makes the sound better and the subwoofer is great anyone who is thinking about getting it get it
If you are looking at buying these speakers, look at the Companion 3 speakers. They are $150 cheaper than the companion 5 and the only think you really lose if the surround effect.

holy ripoff batman. i too recently spent 400 bucks on speakers…. except i got a sony str-dh710 7.1 surround a/v receiver… 2x Polk monitor 50 floor standing speakers… and a 10″ polk REAL subwoofer.

I’ve had mine for over three years now and I love it! I got it for around $250 and yes, the Companion 5, not 3. It was at that price because I bought it when I was working at CompUSA and received a great employee discount. Worth every penny and would buy another one should it break or what not. Though, I have yet to have any problems with it. I do wish Bose will upgrade these set of speakers and add a wireless remote control and possibly more inputs.
If it’s one of the national chains then it will be a standard form that rates your performance in different catagories such as teamwork, appearance/grooming and customer relations. They are also generally used to determine how much of a merit increase an employee would get if you are due to have a merit review.
They are basically used to make sure employees are aware of the strengths and weaknessess and for management to be held accountable for maintaining good staff.
They probably are gonna want to see how fast you perform when there’s like a lunch rush.And how accurate you get the orders.
