Why does the Wiki. Review crowd want to deny sysops the pleasure of coming down hard on misidentified vandals? – Just Cause 2: Video Game Review – Turtle (7.5/10) S02E21
Here is the Question: Why does the Wiki. Review crowd want to deny sysops the pleasure of coming down hard on misidentified vandals?
Doesn’t the Wikipedia Review crowd realize that coming down hard on people who happen to have the same IP address as vandals has great therapeutic value for sysops? Don’t they also realize that by falsely accusing innocents, they are also discouraging them from participating in Wikipedia, accomplishing that goal far better than all their wikibashing?

the learning curve isnt that bad….im pretty sure you just suck…and the voice acting you get used to…oh and something for any gamer to think about… gaming is supposed to be fun……..the real world isn’t that fun! Thats why games let you get away from this realistic world and put you into a fun unrealistic, explosion-packed world
@mattryanownz Actually it’s just 1ft x 1ft in a square (1x1x1x1 would be in 4 dimensions not two). But the reviewer said its 400 miles wide, thats wrong, Its actually 20 miles wide, making it 400 square miles in area NOT 400 miles in width.

wth this guy sucks, the whole point of playing video games is to do stuff you can’t do in real life.
Plus he’s a racist bastard who wants everyone to have a stereotypical accent so he can tell where they’re from.
lol machinima is just trying to make every game thats not modern warfare 2 look bad
controls are not hard if you think about the many hours and content in the game the controls in retrospect are a very small percentage of the time spent in just cause 2 after you beat all the story and mission you still have 66% of things to do that where most of the fun really starts to be in
Complicated controls? No.
You’d have to be a complete noob at video games to think that.

@Halfway3 of course you can, but do you want to? considering the consequences?
we could extend it and say I play vidogames to experience what I can’t or don’t want to do in real life.
7 is ok for this game.
How did this get a 7.5 the other reviews i have seen are like 9.5 and 10 not no damn 7.5 you fail son!
this guys an idiot. . .has he even played just cause 2?. . 90% of the shit he complained about is because of his own stupidity. . and not the games fault
the graphics look amazing, alltough it has some flaws, it looks like it deserves a more than a 7.5..

is this guy retarded?
Lisa, I understand what you’re saying, but I for one am one of the “Wikipedia Review crowd” who takes great delight in watching an admin block an unsuspecting and innocent user merely for the “crime” of subscribing to an Internet service provider that uses dynamic IP address assignments across different households. Where else but at Wikipedia could Person A be given the “no editing for you” treatment, simply because he uses the same ISP as some other family that lives a few miles away from him?
Just another falsehood that’s part of the Wikipedia mythology — “the encyclopedia anyone can edit”, really isn’t, is it?
Oh come on, if you want to use a question to make a point don’t just disprove a straw-man to make a dubious assumption look more probable.
The sysops or mods or whatever make mistakes I’m sure, but why would it be therapeutic, and if the WikiReview peeps are doing wikibashing then why would they care about it in the first place?
I’m sure no one’s out to attack people for no reason, what’s the point in that? Why don’t the WikiReview people try to fix things if there’s some problem?
